"Split"
Shot on the Canon 6D, split is a self-shot, acted, and directed experimental short film exploring themes of overworking, creative burnout, and self destruction for the sake of creation. Created and produced in the span of a day, I wanted to experiment with conveying strong emotion and striking imagery without using dialogue. In order to create a sense of fatigue within the short time frame, I used various repeated, yet altered shots and sets, as well as experimented with new methods and mediums for the first time- namely stop motion animation.
"Dream Shot"
Recorded on the Rebel TI7, Dream Shot follows an aspiring photographer who finds himself at the right place at the right time. Void of dialogue, the short emphasizes the joy and thrill of both aspiration and inspiration.
