artwork is his visual journal.
Using vibrant, harmonious colors in unconventional environments, Mtende creates juxtapositions akin to a dream- fittingly where much of his inspiration stems from. His works often include motifs of nature to help tie the strands of fantasy and reality.
Through illustration, design, and photography, Mtende aims to show the world what it's like through his eyes, one piece at a time.
Currently a junior in undergrad located in Arkansas, he is double majoring in both Graphic Design & Studio Art while pursuing a minor in Digital Photography & Film in the honors collage.
